Shingle Roofing Repair FAQs

For homeowners, a roof that is in need of maintenance or repairs can be an intimidating prospect. So we decided to ease some of your fears and present the most frequently asked questions that we hear when it comes to repairing shingle roofing.

How much does a shingle roof repair cost?

The cost of a shingle roofing repair depends entirely on the extent of damage that has occurred. It can range anywhere from a couple hundred to several thousand dollars.  Since the variable is so extensive, homeowners appreciate our offer of a estimate.   In order to receive an estimate on how much it could cost you to repair your damaged roof, simply feel out the estimate section on our Emergency Roofing Repair page, or contact us by phone or email.

How much of my roof will you have to replace?

In a repair, we only replace as much as is needed to fix the problem.  Once our roofing specialists have looked over your roof we can then tell you if a small part – or the entire roof – needs repairing.

What happens if the leak occurs again?

Leaky roofs are emergencies – contact our Emergency Roofing Services and we will be in contact with you shortly to fix that leak as soon as possible. Often it is discovered that the second leak is from a different area than the one that was repaired by our team. (This is common with older roofs)  We will work with you to keep your home safe and secure.

What if the source of the leak isn’t the main problem?

If we are on the job and discover that the source of the leak is not the main problem, we will discuss the options available to you.  Many problems (such as rotting sheathing) is not visible until the shingles have been torn off.

How long will it take to have my roof ready to go?

Small repairs can take a day where replacing a roof can take longer. We will not be able to provide you with an estimates amount of time until we have been onsite and look at what needs to be done.

Will the repairs be noticeable?

We do our best to match the new shingles with the old to make the repaired portion blend in with the rest of your roofing.  However, there are times when the current shingles are no longer in production.  When this happens, we will find a suitable alternative – we want your home to remain in its charming condition and to always look its best for you.
